The invitations…

I wanted an invitation that was slightly elegant and not too frilly. I think I chose the perfect one. I love that it has the vellem wrap enclosed around it as well as the square sparkly jewel perfectly placed to keep it closed.
I found these invitations in the wedding section at my local Wal-Mart. They are a Wilton product. The stock number is 1010-107. Wilton provides you with a website so you can easily personalize and print your own invitations. The directions were easy to follow and I had the invitations printed and assembled in less than 10 minutes!!!

The Save The Date’s…

here’s what she wrote about her save the dates: I sent out my save-the-dates! I am only having 10 guests (12 total when you count myself and my husband). It’s a very small affair which allows me to be able to go all out for it! I decided to use the picture from my Polyvore creation as a little hint as to what my guests (most of whom have not read the books) will be experiencing at the party next month. I LOVE it!

Books, Candles & Apples…OH MY! The decor…Image may be NSFW.

On Thursday, my husband’s job was to move out most of our living/dining room furniture to make room for the rentals that were arriving on Friday. Obviously, some of the big pieces like our buffet weren’t going to be moved. I decided to use it to add a bit of decor. You’ll notice each of the Twilight Saga books with an apple lying on top. I used a candle carver to cut a perfect hole in each apple to fit a tealight…the effect was awesome! My best friend, Kelly, got married in July of 2005 and the candelabra in the picture is from her wedding. Thankfully, her mom already had the greenery and flowers on it so all I had to do was add some black and red feathers (I figured the Cullens are “vegetarians” so this would work well for that “animal-like” decor), red ribbons (think Eclipse) and of course, what Twilight/Vampireskdinner party would be complete without blood dripping candles?!? The candles were EASY to make. Basically use an old candlestick holder or a bucket filled with sand and place white taper candles inside. Light a RED pillar candle and let the wax drip down the top of the taper candles. In the coming days, I’ll post some pictures of the table design where I used more of those “blood” dripping candles.

Welcome sign…

I found the verbiage for this sign from another Twilight fan who hosted a party a few months back. As soon as I saw it I knew I needed to recreate it for my party. All of our guests definitely had a good chuckle when they walked up to our front door! The food buffet station…Image may be NSFW.

I think one of my favorite parts of the party was definitely the food buffet station. It was very simple to put together, but really added to the ambiance I was trying to achieve. I used a 6 foot banquet table and covered it in a black linen. I had a collage frame that I used in shows back when I was a wedding planner so I decided to print some pictures from the movie and a few of my favorite quotes and pop them in the frames. Down the center of the collage frame I printed pictures of the book covers and put them in according to their release dates. I was very happy with how it turned out and it really gave a lot of height and interest to the table. Total cost for that project was $6 for the printing of the pictures!I wanted to stick with an Italiano theme for party food since Bella ate mushroom ravioli in the movie and the Cullens attempted to make her an Italian meal when she came to visit them. Rather than actually have mushroom ravioli (a lot of our guests don’t eat mushrooms!) I decided to make my original recipe called Tara’s Stuffed Shells (check back a little later and I’ll post the recipe). My recipe calls for green pepper and onion and the same crowd that didn’t like mushrooms didn’t like those things as well so I made a plain version without any type of vegetables that went over really well. You’ll notice from the pictures below that I came up with fun names for all of our food for the evening. This particular dish became Blood & Guts Stuffed Organs. There were a lot of laughs over that one!In addition to the stuffed shells I also made Cullen Salad which consisted of ONLY “vegetarian” ingredients and what Italian feast would be complete without Vampire Repellent Breadsticksto round out the meal. Total cost for making the signs was $0 since I already owned all of the paper, ink and the frames.
The drink station…

I had a lot of fun putting together the drink station. I used a 3 foot round table that we normally have on our patio and covered it with a red linen. I used a water pitcher that belonged to my grandmother so those that didn’t like soft drinks could have another option. The 3-tier silver stand is actually one of six that I own and used to rent out for weddings. I had thought about selling them at one point, but just couldn’t part with them!!! I took 3 wine buckets that I had from once again doing weddings and filled them with ice and popped in some bottled sodas. We had Jones’ Blood, Root-of-all-Evil Beer and Vampire Cola. Around the base of the wine buckets I added some clear dazzlers (like I did on just about every surface!!!) to give that vampire shimmer effect and then a few apples with red glitter that are actually part of my Christmas decor.
The cake…Image may be NSFW.

I didn’t want to do a cake that screamed Twilight so I opted for something a little more suttle. I ended up getting this peanut butter ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery. It was SENSATIONAL!!! You’ll notice that a vampire decided to try a piece of it before we picked it up..hmmmmm! ; )

Tablescape & Place Settings…Image may be NSFW.

As I mentioned in my last post, the tablescape was pretty much my main focus for the party. It had to be creative and really set the mood for the entire party! I started with an 8 foot banquet table and covered it in a black floor length linen. I paired the linen with black chairs and red linen napkins. You’ll also notice a little $2 feathered boa I purchased at Michael’s to make my chair stand out from the others. I had close to thirty candles in glass and silver candlesticks in varying heights that I borrowed from my best friend’s mom lining the center of the long table with red doilies underneath. Originally the doilies were there to catch any candle wax that dripped, but I made an executive design about an hour before the party and decided not to actually light the candles on the table due to everything being so tight in our living/dining room and that last thing I wanted to do was to start a fire. Several weeks ago I found a cheap chess game at Wal-Mart for $3. I decided to take the black pieces and spray paint them red and leave the white pieces as they were. I incorporated them into the table design. I also found inexpensive white tulips for $2 at Wal-Mart and spray painted them to look like blood was dripping off of them. My overall goal was to bring the covers of the books in the Twilight Saga to life. I had planned for the candelabra to go on the dining table, but it became apparent pretty early on that it was going to be to big so it was on my buffet instead. You’ll notice the ribbon hanging down on it which was suppose to stand for Eclipse. Like with every other surface I used tons of little shiny pieces throughout to make everything sparkle like the Twilight vampires! Check back tomorrow for closeups of the place settings!Image may be NSFW.

The Menu…

It took me a while to come up with the place settings. I needed a way to incorporate the apple from the book Twilight, but also needed to find a way to incorporate Forks, Washington as well. As I was creating the menus it hit me that I could use the same card stock for the place cards and just have a fork stick right through it into an apple. It was kind of one of those things you do a double take just to make sure you’re seeing what you’re actually seeing. I really liked how it turned out. I purchased the forks at Wal-Mart for $3. You’ll also notice the red stuff all over the menu and place cards. I actually used the same red candle wax I used to make the candles to pour over the card stock to make it look like blood. I LOVED how it turned out! What Twilight/Vamperisk-themed party would be complete without vampire teeth?!? I purchased these from Oriental Trading. I used them in a group photo later in the evening and also as my guest’s take-home favors.
The Trivia Game…
Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.
One of the things I stressed to each of my guests was the fact that if they didn’t have at least a knowledge of the Twilight movie, they probably wouldn’t understand my party at all. While I would have loved it if everyone that came had read all 4 books, I settled on at least the Twilight movie! With that said, I planned on doing Twilight Trivia as part of the evening. Without the book knowledge I decided to base the trivia game on the movie instead. There were 20 questions worth 1 point each and one bonus question worth 5 points. Everyone broke up into teams. The winners pictured below were Bethany and her mom Pamela. As you can tell from the smile on Bethany’s face that the prize was hilarious…a golden onion!!! It took me 4 coats of spray paint, but I finally got that darn onion covered in gold. Her reaction was classic. I loved every minute of it. In addition to the golden onion I also popped in a $10 gift card to Cold Stone Creamery.

Outdoor Movie Birthday Party

And the next party feature goes to this darling OUTDOOR MOVIE BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Caryl Lyons of ROAR events group. Such a perfect theme for a tween party! Look at the vintage movie reel cake & fun cookies! I love the Coca Cola crates, as well!

Here is what Caryl said about the party- ”We just celebrated my son Tucker’s 11th birthday and we wanted to do something a little different.  He was past the age of legos and super heros so we needed to think of a theme that would be COOL to a tween.
We decided on an outdoor movie theme mixed in with afternoon pool time.  The kids arrived around 4pm and immediately jumped in the pool.  They worked up an appetite with pizza.  As the sun was setting, we started the movie and they all huddled together.
The dessert table was a concession stand that had all the movie time favorites from licorice to starbursts to skittles to popcorn.  And of course a party wouldn’t be complete without a film reel cake.
The party printables were done by Adria of Anders Ruff and my mom.  I gave my mom the vision of what I was going for and she drew the main graphic.  Adria digitized it and incorporated it into the rest of the look and feel.  The cake was created by Michelle of Cakewalk Baking.  She did an amazing job.  We had popcorn, film reel and star cookies that were baked up by Allyson Jane Cookies.  We purchased a 1968 vintage film reel off craigs list.  That was a great find.  We found the popcorn buckets and french fry containers (that we used for some of the concession stand goodies) from Cost Plus.  We went to our favorite paper store, The Paper Source for the envelopes and stickers for the invitations.  The red fabric for the concession stand back drop was from Joann’s.”

Breaking Dawn Twilight Party

Any Twilight fans out there? If so, you will love this BREAKING DAWN TWILIGHT PARTY submitted by Amy Fetter of Earl Photography. From the feathers to the chess pieces to the colored contacts, this party had it all! Everything was “Twilight” style. Amy even had life sized Edward & Jacob stand ups!

Here is what Amy said about the party- “I threw a Twilight themed party, for the premiere of the movie based on the book, Breaking Dawn. I had about 7 different areas set up:

The entry area had our very owen photo studio (or photo booth) with an actual photographer friend -who was already invited to the party, but then offered to take pictures. Next to that was a table with name tags, prize drawing entry, a costume contest entry, and two sets of trivia (one from ‘Twilight’ and one from ‘Breaking Dawn’-the first part that related to the movie). We also had prizes for Trivia winners.

Right across from the entry table was the wedding themed/love story table. Completed with a themed fondant cake as the centerpiece, fondant themed cupcakes, labeled water bottles (which didn’t turn out as great, but the idea is cute), and it was decorated with all sorts of fun hints from the movie, such as hanging white flowers, feathers. Also, things like plastic swans for “Bella Swan”, as well as rose petals agains a white table cloth, and diamonds.

My theme colors were pretty obvious -white, black and red. The great part is they are all reusable party items -colors I will for sure be using in the future.

I even hung LED Christmas lights, as well as paper lanterns and tissue decorative balls.
Once you left the entry to the kitchen area, there were two food areas -one themed after the Cullen (vampire) family, and one after the Werewolf’s. Fans know that the Cullen’s are “vegetarians”, or that the Werewolf’s -compare the Cullen’s -are “hot-blooded” (both in reality and in temper) -so a veggie tray on one and hot chocolate on the other, etc. -you get the idea.

Then the final area was the movie room, where we had the Twilight series trivia playing on the the tv. And then the movie popcorn holders, with twinkling lights and the prizes.

The party went a little like this: People arrived, greeted, put name tag on and names in the drawing bowl, grabbed trivia and a pen and sat at the table and filled it out while they talked and while people arrived. (The trivia was found on-line: www.funtrivia.com). People could choose when to do their photo booth pics, but one of the most fun parts (MUST Have for this type of party), were the Edward and Jacob card board stand-ups. These made the pictures so fun. And you can’t forget the ever trending “mustache on a stick” for a photo booth, HOWEVER, I found ones with red lips and white vampire teeth. SO cute! I ordered them from www.mustacheonastick.com.”

“Saved By The Bell” Party! – Movie, Epic, TV Series Party

In the 1990′s, who came home from school to watch the epic TV series, Saved By The Bell?! This SAVED BY THE BELL PARTY submitted by Nicole of Million Dollar Smile Celebrations will make the memories flood right in!

Nicole said- “This totally tubular and ridiculous rad dessert table was created for In Flight’s One Year Anniversary. They hosted a fun competition, and I decided to put on the Ray Bans, blast a little Color Me Badd, and get my dessert table on…

THEME: Saved by the Bell DETENTION Desserts

What kid in the late 80s and early 90s didn’t roll out of bed in their Ninja Turtle pajamas to catch his/her favorite Saturday morning show… Saved by the Bell?!?! Filled with comedy (aka. Samuel Schreech Powers)… and a little drama (who knew caffeine pills were so dangerous)… and EVERYTHING 90s, our friends at Bayside High School taught us about love, friendship, and how to be Cool at School! I wanted my dessert table to be all things awesome, gnarly, and totally RAD… just how Zack and the gang would do it!

DESSERTS:

Center Desk…
The center of the table became this retro television I found off of craigslist for a whopping $15. No, it doesn’t work thanks to the change from analog to digital… but the static screen and knobs took me back to the good ole days. I placed Kelly ‘Kup’kowski Cakes on top of the tv and topped the cupcakes with the Class of ’93 photos and fondant toppers in the most awesome iconic fashion. Could that sneaker be any more amazing?! SHAAA! Orange sodas sat in front of the TV. Just because everything is cuter on sticks, I placed Schreech Pops on one side and gummy burgers on the other. The Schreech Pops were made by yours truly and displayed the multitude of faces of the sidekick that we grew to love (well, maybe not Lisa)! The gummy burgers were direct from The Max, the fav after-school hang-out/dance competition location/music video set!
Left Desk…
Placed perfectly on AC’s dumbbell, Slater’s Sugar Cookies showed off the famous logo, Zach’s sneaker, the iconic opening credit pair of shades, a boom-box, and the Bayside logo. Go TIGERS!!! Because of Lisa’s shopping habit, Miss Lisa ‘Turtles’ were placed atop a stack of shoe boxes. Ice-cream flavored lollipops sat in retro sundae cups in tribute of the greatest girl group at Bayside High… Hot Sundae! “Mind to it… Go for it…”
Right Desk…
Speaking of Hot Sundae, let’s not forget how stressed, excited, then scared Jessie Spano got over the music video shoot, the fame of the girl group, and applying for colleges. For that reason, Jessie’s Energy Pills sat on top of a large stack of textbooks. And it wasn’t just the girls that had a musical hit, the boy band Zack Attack swooned almost every girl at Bayside. Zack Attack Snacks, poly bags filled with neon sour gummies, sat on a platter hoisted up with an enormous pair of sneakers (jeans tucked IN, of course)! At the end of the day… and each season… the gnarly girls and bodacious boys of Bayside taught us one thing… Friends are Forever! So grab your Buddy Band Brownie, topped with neon Nerds (another specialty by me) and chill with a pal! Just don’t get caught by the princiPAL!!”VENDOR CREDITS:

Night at the Movies Birthday Party

Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.
My first weekend party feature goes to this fabulous NIGHT AT THE MOVIES BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Jennifer Schattle. Grab some popcorn and take a seat…this party is one that can’t be beat. Party Details told by Mom, Jennifer Hill (of Hello Love Designs):“My son, Ethan, was turning 9 this year, so I was facing the dilemma of what kind of party to throw that he would love. And would be 9-year-old “cool” too. Since he has a summer birthday, we always do outdoor parties, and I knew this year wouldn’t be any different. I went down my checklist: Camping? Done. Pool party? Done. Circus? Done. Picnic? Done. My parents had just installed a new flat screen television on their back porch. Outdoor movie? That’s it! Ohhh, and I love the old theater marquee look, so let’s go with that theme – a cool, vintage Hollywood outdoor movie theater! Then he chose his favorite movie, The Karate Kid (2010) with Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan. My ideas were brought back to a 9-year-old reality, and, really, it was all about what he wanted. Vintage Hollywood was out.For the invitations, I used midnight blue as the background – appropriate for our evening/night event. I still incorporated the old-style theater marquee that I loved, and that was the springboard for the rest of the paper goods. The marquee colors had yellows and red which was perfect for the movie he chose since it takes place in China.

We had the theater, but you cannot go to a movie without going to the concession stand first. We needed a concession stand. I had the idea of marrying a concession stand with being outdoors, so I used a very common umbrella table. Voila, we had a 360 degree concession stand. Very cool for 9-year-olds. Candy all the way around! The red-striped tablecloth was a great find from Target. It zipped around the umbrella! Party lights were hung around the umbrella ready to be lit at dark. I used red and yellow paper lanterns from Party City hanging from the umbrella, keeping with the colors of the invite and movie setting. “Ethan’s Theater” concession stand was stocked on one side with the staple movie box candy – m&m’s, starburst, skittles, reese’s pieces, bottle caps, etc. I used a basket I had for the box candy and my mom’s food stand for the other candy. Drinks were outdoor style – glass bottle sodas in a red ice bucket also from Targe t. We weren’t having cupcakes, but I had to tuck in a few cupcake toppers into the ice bucket. Red-striped straws (from Hey Yo Yo) with personalized straw flags (Hey Yo Yo) were a must for the drinks. That way the kids could keep up with which drink belonged to who. Let me tell you, they loved having their own names on the straws! The other side of the concession stand had the cotton candy. My sister-in-law has a vintage chip clip stand that I used to hold the cotton candy packages. So neat. The kids just pulled the cotton candy off of the clip and were off to the movie. Of course, the main attraction of the concessions had to be the popcorn. Buttered popcorn was a must. Ethan requested caramel popcorn. I mixed buttered popcorn with m&m’s and called it, appropriately, kung fu popcorn. All the popcorn was easily reached in lidded jars from Walmart and a wooden scoop was available to help scoop out the popcorn (also from Walmart). I hung more of the personalized party circles with ribbon around the jar lids. Popcorn boxes (Hey Yo Yo) were just the perfect serving size for the movie. Finally, we had chocolate covered fortune cookies! We couldn’t watch The Karate Kid without having fortune cookies. I picked up the fortune cookies from our favorite local Chinese food restaurant and dipped them in chocolate. These were a huge hit with the kids and adults too.

At the party entrance, I used red crepe paper and stands borrowed from a friend as the red rope entrance. It lead the way out back to the party. Very V.I.P. I also placed a “now showing” sign along with a small Karate Kid poster at the entrance next to a jar of red “admit one” tickets giving the entrance a movie theater feel.

At many theaters, you will find photo booths. I thought it would be fun to have an outdoor photo booth to take pictures of Ethan and his guests as they arrived. Well…the best laid plans of mice and men…it didn’t work out exactly as I had pictured, but the end result was still just as cute. It was too windy that day and the sheet wouldn’t hang, so we just had the photo booth in the great outdoors. I provided different hats and cardstock mustaches from the Cupcake Social as the props. All of the guests hadn’t arrived yet, but my friend and photographer, Jennifer Schattle, did an amazing job capturing the kids’ personalities that were there for the shoot! They even attempted their own kung fu moves!

After the photo shoot, we played one quick, prize-winning, game: the great popcorn eating race. with chopsticks. Each guest and the birthday boy were given the same number of popcorn pieces and a pair of chopsticks. The object was to race and see who could eat the popcorn the fastest using their chopsticks. Popcorn was everywhere! It’s a wonder that we had winners. We played this game a couple of times and had a blast.

Ethan requested a popcorn cake. I am no baker, but I love to make my children’s cakes/cupcakes every birthday, so I had a challenge ahead of me. I have to credit Bakerella for the inspiration. She has the popcorn brownies on her website, and I used her technique with the marshmallows to place over the cake. And truly, I have to credit my husband for finishing the cake! I burnt out scoring the marshmallows and he swooped in to double and triple up the marshmallows making the popcorn effect even better. While I was decorating the party that afternoon, he placed every marshmallow “popcorn” on the cake. What a dad!

Finally, after the birthday guests enjoyed the movie, they took home their party favors stuffed inside a popcorn bag (from Hey Yo Yo). It was definitely a night to remember and, most importantly, Ethan said it was the best birthday party ever. I agree.”

Here’s what Erin said about planning this party- “Sometimes when I’m feeling run down…I just need a night with the girls. My husband was out of town for the weekend, so this was the perfect time to throw a Chick Flick Movie Night!  It was seriously so fun!!!

I designed a printable set based on some movie Starlets from the 50′s and 60′s.  I chose Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe, Doris Day and Audrey Hepburn. The set includes invitations, games, cupcake wrappers, tent cards, straw flags, pillow boxes, and much more! You’ll have everything you need to pull off the perfect movie night party.

I wanted to create a movie theater feel, without the stinky movie theater carpet (seriously, why is there carpet in movie theaters…so gross?!) We had movie candy (dots, red vines, junior mints, etc), buttered popcorn, sodas, and the added bonus of cupcakes!! Instead of using paper plates, which I think are annoying to eat off of because everything slides off, I made box trays…just like what you’d use in a theater. They were super handy and way cuter than paper plates. Everything fit perfectly in these little trays (which are included in my printable set).

Doris Day is my favorite actress…her movies are ADORABLE and hilarious, so we watched Pillow Talk. I was surprised that most people I invited hadn’t seen it, but everyone LOVED it…definitely a MUST SEE. During the movie, we played “Chick Flick Bingo.” It has things on it like first kiss, dancing, singing…you know…all the chick flick criteria.”

This is what Katie said about planning the party- “A movie party theme was inspired out of necessity! We have a large group of friends and family and I had to come up with a theme that would entertain and accommodate a February indoor party for 50 guests, 25 of them children between the ages of 4-6. With a goal to wow my guests (b/c I do style parties for a living), make it fun for both big and little guests, and keep it fuss-free, I split our party onto two levels to keep the crowd flowing.
I found traditional red, white, and black movie party printables on Etsy, but since this party was for a girl, I wanted to add in a tad bit of girly and decided to throw in pops of yellow. And, as a party stylist with a room full of props, I incorporated many of the party décor pieces I already had on hand, which turned this theme into a Vintage Movie Party.

Now, who doesn’t love movie snacks? This was such a hit for the birthday girl and all her friends. I created a movie concession stand stocked with fresh popped popcorn, jumbo salted pretzels, a selection of candy (mini sized of course), popcorn pops, cupcakes, and beverages. Just like the movies, our little guests got in line and each received a snack caddy, which they then filled with whatever movie treats they wanted. On the way down to the “movie theatre”, each guest grabbed a sheet and took a seat in front of the big screen. While the children were entertained downstairs, our adult guests were able to relax, mingle and enjoy the bar and restocked concession stand upstairs.”

UNDER THE STARS PARTY DETAILS:

Jenny said this about the party- “I styled this party for my daughter, Audrey’s 11th birthday. She brings so much sparkle to our lives and her personality really shines so a star party was just the perfect theme. Since she is getting older, I wanted to keep the party as girly and sweet as possible while she will still let me. We used several shades of pink, silver and a lot of sparkle in all of the printables and decorations. Everything at the party dealt with stars!

Dinner Table- We set the dinner table under an over hang in the back of our yard. I draped over a dozen strands of twinkle lights over the table and down the wall to create a beautiful, star like mood. Once the sun set, the area truly sparkled. The table was covered with ruffled tablecloth and I used glittered scrapbook paper for the placemats. Each place setting had a takeout box with dinner inside. I glittered wooden utensils and attached them to the box. For the backs of the chairs, I cut out pink stars and used my Cameo Silhouette machine to cut out the girls’ names. I made pedestals out of wooden star cutouts and round boxes for the candles. Pink pompoms in two shades of pink hung over the table.

Dessert Table- The backdrop of the dessert table was a plywood board that I painted with chalkboard paint. I then traced a star that matched the invitation and filled it in with pink colored chalk. Ruffled curtains framed the backdrop. The centerpiece of the table was a two tiered chocolate cake decorated with gingham ribbon and star toppers that matched the other printables. The dessert table consisted of a Milky Way, which was milk bottles decorated with stars that I also cut from my Cameo machine. There were shooting stars, stars in jars with wooden spoons decorated with star jewels, “star”berry cakes in mason jars, clouds (donuts), cupcakes with star suckers, star bars, star marshmallows, star dust and cups of star cookies.

Activities- The girls did many activities including- Shoot for the stars- Using marshmallow guns, the girls shot at stars hanging on a frame I made out of PVC. Each girl got 6 marshmallows and received points for hitting different sized stars. Seeing stars- The girls decorated telescopes with washi tape and pink jewels. Star treatment- the girls did their nails in pink polish of course. I’m a star- Photo booth.

Movie Area- Seeing Stars- Once the sun went down, the girls watched a movie on a big screen set up in the yard. We moved our couch outside and I sewed a bunch of pillows in pink fabrics for the girls to lie on. I made the “star grazing” table for the movie area out of old palates. The candy boxes were wrapped to match the party printables. We had mini cellophane bags of Star Bursts, like a diamond, and little star candies. The girls also snacked on popcorn and chips and took home tubes of pink colored gumballs.

Drink Station- The drinks were set up on an old wagon that we had. Luckily, it had pink wheel rims. The girls picked from “star”berry soda, sparkling soda, lemonade and personalized water bottles. Singing Happy Birthday- I always make a mini “smash cake” for my kids- a tradition from their first birthday. For this party, I did a mini pink ombre cake with star bunting. The girls all had big sparklers that held while we sang.

Favors- I made star t-shirts with the word shine on them for each of the girls again using my Cameo. A framed signed told that girls that Audrey thanked her lucky stars for having them as friends. Audrey had such a fun birthday- it was beautiful, girlie and a little bit of glam- just like her.

Printables were done with patterns and shades of pink. Invitations, food labels, water bottle wraps, candy box covers, and more can be found here.”
